Typeshelf by Ufuk Keskin
by Ted Savage / August 10, 2011
From Ufuk Keskin, Typeshelf is a clever shelving concept that's word-wise and eco-smart. 2D cutout letters in stainless steel are bent at 90-degrees to form the shelf bed.

It's part of the designer's Flat Objects series of products, "manufactured and shipped flat and transformed into 3D objects by being bent, folded or twisted by their user." The design strategy reduces materials, labor, and shipping costs, and Typeshelf can be customized. More at Thirtyfive Creative Works.
