Roundy Residence by The Miller Hull Partnership
Via @archdaily, a cliff-side house on 10 gently rolling acres that abruptly end in a 100-foot drop to the water, in the San Juan Islands of Washington, USA.
Designed to conform to and modify its location, one wing of the L-shaped structure acts as a windbreak against the high westerly winds concentrated at the top of the cliff, while private areas, bedrooms and guestrooms, open into protected gardens and a terrace.
