Via @architonic, a radically simplified pendant lamp design, created for Viennese crystal specialists, Lobmeyr, reinterprets their traditionally opulent chandeliers in a less-is-more style.

Each point of light in this modern, minimalist approach involves "a black cable enclosed within a plain bent metal tube, and a single hand-cut crystal which is suspended above the end of the brass structure and lit from below by an LED." More at Thomas Feichtner.
