Moods Hotel by Vrtiška Žák
From Vrtiška Žák in Prague, a new hotel in a former bank building with an accent on color, graphics and natural materials throughout.
(Click the images below for full sized images)
Prague based designers Vladimir Zak and Roman Vrtiska designed more than just the color scheme and chose materials for Moods, they also created atypical furniture pieces, lighting and design accessories - and custom made sticky notes (above).
Space in the reception area is variegated with a moss wall and a custom made sofa wraps around a central chromed column.
Moods also has a unique feature in the rooms and public spaces. They've incorporated a famous Czech book, Peter Sís' The Three Golden Keys, in the interior design of the hotel. You can start reading the book at the entrance of the rooms, continue in the bedroom and finish chapters in the bathrooms.
"Stay often and you may be able to read the whole book."
