Rima Desk Lamp by Dreipuls
by Harry / January 20, 2011
From Dreipuls @imm_cologne, a desk light controlled by moving rings across the lamp. "Moving the rings will turn LEDs on and off - it is as easy as moving a curtain. Users can shift the light into the desired area without moving the whole lamp."

The Rima lamp employs a series of LEDs for light that are selectively turned on or off with the rings. Optical sensors detect the position of each ring. The rings allow up to two separate lighting areas to be created. Switching off is accomplished simply by moving back all the rings.
