"This modern interpretation of the 'old farmer chair' puts an accent on seating comfort. The stackable RePly chair, design by Roderick Vos for Dutch manufacturer Bert Plantagie has been created from several sheets/layers of birch plywood and will be presented at the IMM Cologne."

Says Vos, "I love 'simplicity' when designing products. It has always been a guideline for all my work. That's why I only used one material for this project: Veneer/plywood. A number of experiments were made in order to create this 'one piece pressed chair'. The legs, seat, and backrest are realised in 'one production pressing-process' in order to keep the production costs low. A unique pressing mould was made in order to realise this chair."
