From architect Richard Meier, a collection of candlesticks, etched crystal tumblers, white marbles trays and silver candy dishes for When Objects Work. The silver-plated oval Celebration Tray (in French polished black walnut, above) has just won a Chicago Athenaeum GOOD AWARD.

Says Meier, "Architecture is art, but is has to be functional. Objects should carry the same philosophy. They should work perfectly in all environments, be useful yet elegant, and help create a sense of event."
