Design the World: Handpainted Eames Rocker
by Harry / January 11, 2011
This post is sponsored by Autodesk. Design the World is a series of posts on the things we actually own and use here at MOCO, as well as what MOCO readers actually own and use.

Today we're featuring a Favorite Design post from Everardo.

Do you have a favorite object or product? Share it with us by uploading a picture and description at mocoloco.com/upload. We may feature your submission in an upcoming Favorite Designs post.

Here's what Everardo wrote in his submission:

My Eames Rocker, handpainted by artist Christopher Lee, is definitely my favorite object.

It stands as a piece of impeccable design and simplicity, but is also incredibly comfortable and functional.

The illustrative sketches you see here were all created by Chris Sweet using Autodesk's Sketchbook Pro because favorite designs, yours and mine, begin with an idea and quite often with the kind of sketches you see here.
