Design the World: Buono Kettle by Hario
This post is sponsored by Autodesk. Congrats Jamie M., your submission was chosen for the Haworth Very Task Chair Giveaway.
Design the World is a series of posts on the things we actually own and use here at MOCO, as well as what MOCO readers actually own and use.

Here's what Jamie wrote in his submission:
Buono Kettle by Hario
This is my current favourite object, the Buono pour over Kettle by Hario.
Why I love it: It has two simple functions and it does them
both in an efficient and beautiful way.
1. It needs to boil water and it does that with no bells or whistles : easy to fill and heats quickly.
2. It needs to pour water in a controlled manner: Plastic handle stays cool and is the correct angle for pouring, long narrow spout is drip free and easy to direct water flow. Most importantly this is the kettle I use to make my morning coffee so how could you not love it? The fact that it's a stainless steel beehive is just bonus, fulfilling both form and function.

The illustrative sketches you see here were all created by Chris Sweet using Autodesk's Sketchbook Pro because favorite designs, yours and mine, begin with an idea and quite often with the kind of sketches you see here.
