Via @designboom, a house in Sendai, Japan with a perimeter wall which is an integral part of the building itself. High population density and high traffic flow called for a "perimeter fence". A small courtyard leads to the upper section of the house which acts as the entrance hall with adjoining balconies and a rooftop garden. More at APOLLO Architects and Associates.
