Luohkka Headstone by Johan Kaupi
by Yvan / October 26, 2010
From Johan Kaupi and Göteborg's We Think, a new headstone design that "embraces a place for remembrance, rather than grief, and you can cherish and visit the resting place in your very own way; planting a seed, gathering beautiful stones or lighting a candle."

The name Luohkka is an indigenous word that means "small mountain with trees". The stones are made of magnetite, a durable stone that is found in northern Sweden.
