"The Wave Chair is a collaborative design that utilizes steam bending techniques with the implementation of digital fabrication technologies. CNC routing machines were used to create the formwork needed for all of the pieces that were utilized in the design. The chair was created for the Spring Digital Fabrication course at the University of Michigan by the collaboration of Elisa Cotelo, Andrew Powers, Erica Wannemacher, and James Wilson."
