stool FRNKWZ* by Lukas Franciszkiewicz
The stool FRNKWZ* by Lukas Franciszkiewicz is a square cushion strapped onto a metal pyramidal frame by way of bungee cords.
"My stool is intended to be an expression of [the] open information society: urban aesthetics incorporated into private living spaces. The pyramid-shaped steel frame balances a square cushion. This optical instability is secured by expanders, which are normally part of the urban scenery. Moreover, the frame as well as the cushion and bungee straps are black to reduce the formal complexity. Merely the hooks, carriers of the sematic meaning, are chromed. In response to the current requirements of society the stool represents the zeitgeist."
