SALON at Tribeca Grand Hotel
During New York Design Week this year we saw an original way of showcasing Spanish design talents at the Tribeca Grand Hotel - a permanent exhibition space/ new lounge bar called SALON.
Marcet Mercer pendant lights above the bar and a chair by Jaime Hayon on the right
A permanent space featuring the work of 15 manufacturers and designers, the Salon space was designed by designer Winka Dubbeldam of Archi-Tectonics, New York and creative directed by Richard Klein, Founder of Surface Magazine.
LZF Link pendant lamps and BD Barcelona Dallips chairs (originally designed by Salvador Dali in 1937)
"SALON brings a new spin to marketing creative talents (and a hotel), beyond the traditional trade show booth formats, furniture showrooms etc. SALON is an active, live space, allowing visitors to experience the best of Spanish modern design first-hand."
