Cone Tableware by Louise Bousquet
Seen @SIDIM2010, a porcelain cone inspired by cones made of paper for french fries. The cones can hold more than just fries as can be seen above.
As for storage when not in use, the cones come with a base to hold them made with the 'stilt' that holds them when being fired in a kiln (which is normally eventually thrown away).
Easily overlooked in the rush through the show is the rest of Porcelaines Bouquet's collection. A series of plates and cups that have a familiar detail...
The indentations on the side of this cup resemble those found on disposable plastic cups. What was interesting was the extension of this motif to smaller goblets, as seen in the tall ones for spirits just behind.
The "cup" motif extended to bowls, vases and plates.
