Victor Bicycle by Christophe Robillard

Seen @SIDIM, a bicycle with a new frame typology made to reduce the material required and lower the cost of fabrication. According to the designer Christophe Robillard, "If the bicycle is the standard bearer for sustainable transportation, shouldn't the object itself communicate the same message?"

The most notable feature of the bike frame is the missing seat tube which would normally extend from the seat down to the gear set.

On the rear, instead of two seat stays on either side, there is just one. Notice the rear fender is an integrated part of the frame.
