One of the most unique things I found while roaming via Tortona was this exhibition by Serge Van de Put, who uses recycled rubber to build incredible sculptures of animals, cars, people, and more.




One of my favorite pieces was this caricature of Nelson Mandela.



The sculptures, fastened together with screws, include every last detail - right down to Nelson Mandela's prisoner number.



Serge specializes in animals, but this 'Pirelli' race car was also on display in the exhibition.



The rubber sculptures' expressive faces and poses really give them personality and make them come to life.
