Confessions Seating by Arik Levy
Seating as a tool for communication allows lovers to voice fear and concerns more easily in Confessions, Arik Levy's design for a Slott Gallery exhibition held in Milan last month entitled Preliminaries: Design at the Threshold of Love.
Levy revisits the concept of the confessional, but strips it of any religious connotation to have it serve simply as furniture created to enhance an exchange.
Of course, it can be said that the privacy offered by the cosy boxes could lead to anti-social tendencies, as well, but this has to be left to the user.
