Mathieu Lehanneur's Power of Love for Slott Gallery consists of a fire sculpture connected by two sets of headphones playing different tracks (inspired by the classic scene in La Boum where Sophie Marceau listens to a ballad on a fella's Walkman while everyone else dances around her to something more upbeat).




The idea behind this piece is that when two people fall in love, they create a third universe consisting of the two of them as a unit while remaining true to themselves.
