Skôn Iridescent Hoodie by Paula Kassenaar & Paula Segura Meccia
by Mike / April 11, 2010
From Paula Kassenaar, a hoodie with a light strip in the front edge, "an exploration into textiles and electronics." The front part of the hoodie is a knitted variable resistor, the resistance varies when you toy with it. Watch the video below.

"Skôn means beautiful in Dutch dialect, and in Swedish Skön also means nice or beautiful. This relates to both cultural backgrounds of the designers. Skôn is created in a one week module that was hosted by teachers Michel Peeters and Carl Meegens from the Wearable Senses division."
