Yii is a new design brand from Taiwan, conceived by the Taiwan Craft Research Institute to stimulate creative dialogue between Taiwanese designers and craftspeople. Led by creative director Gijs Bakker, co-founder of Droog Design, the items to be presented at Triennale di Milano next week include fine silver work, bamboo objects, lacquerware, woodcarving, and ceramics among other traditional crafts.
