The change in shape may not seem like a big one, with both ends pointed, but the elliptical shape of Panasonic's 360° Quick iron allows more freedom of movement and access to tight areas. Seen at CES 2010, the Quick has more vents than usual on the soleplate, thereby reducing task time.
