From Zena Verda Pesta, a mixed media installation that includes terra cotta plastic bags, fish gravel and faux flowers. Entitled I'll pick you up in my airstream for a cosmic road trip , the installation is an investigation into the hierarchy of materials. Using a slipcasting process to make the bags, the artist wishes to highlight the relationships between perceived luxury, ornamentation and the various materials that can make an object precious.
