Lisa Kellner creates a site-specific installation entitled Im Plant for Adaptation, an exhibition that also includes work by Victoria Greising and Cailtin Masley. The three artists use commonplace materials to create immersive installations designed to provoke viewer interaction. Kellner uses hand sewn and painted silk pods to reference flesh, blood platelets and breast implants to convey the message of decay, erosion and disease. Kellner uses colour, text, form and negative space to tease out an emotive reaction from viewers.
