Cobalt pigment applied to white clay has resulted in the most recognizable examples of ceramics through the ages. Around the world, artists and craftspeople have used this colour combination to produce decorative pieces that serve to tell stories, spread ideas and preserve memories. Today's ceramicists continue the tradition of implementing this colour scheme into contemporary expressions of this aesthetic. New Blue and White is an exhibition featuring artists from all over the world.
