Brian Blood joins several other contemporary artists who have chosen California as their muse for a group show called California Impressions. Blood offers sultry landscapes that are a reflection of the golden tones and light of Northern California, primarily in a plein-air style that mixes elements of late nineteenth-century Europe and America between the 1920s and 1940s with a flavour of today.
