Genoa-based illustrator Rubens Cantuni works as an art director and blogger, dreams of points East, and, possibly more importantly, is the creative hand behind a series of plump geishas (Rubenesque, of course) who populate the world of Tokyo Candies. Armed with urban attitude and cheeky smiles, these girls wear nice lipstick, vivid tattoos and not much else, while busy with pillow fights, peppermint sticks, octopi or bicycles. Tokyo Candies is, indeed, a box of visual bonbons.
