Abstract, but not out of control are Dion Johnson's curvy compositions. In fact, there is something cartoon-like about them, all stripy ellipses and colour blocks. Johnson uses acrylic and flashe for works saturated in popsicle brights and gem tones. At times they tease; at others, it's as though someone took all the rage out of drip painting. Delicious.
