Alas, Ray Villafane's sculpted pumpkins will put your front porch beauties to shame. Although trained as a visual artist, Villafane's passion for teaching led him down the path of K-12, where he started pumpkin carving with his students. He eventually spent some time with a friend who was sculpting for Disney and discovered a new calling. Villafane has turned his talents to sculpting toys and sand, while continuing to impress judges in pumpkin carving competitions all over.
