Kirsten Everberg plays with the notions of nomenclature and place by entitling various images of the same Los Angeles building differently. What's more, she uses the names of architecture set in other locales. The series of Bradbury Building paintings is a riff on "the subjectivity of memory and the unreliability and relativity of truth as we experience it in the city," but the eye is perhaps more drawn to the pictures rather than the idea behind them.
