Based in Tenerife, Ana Gonzalez started out making paper dolls with her sister. It wasn't long before she succumbed to the influence of Picasso and Gauguin, developing her own style along the way. An artist with a sense of humour, Gonzalez tries to see the funny side of things, and uses family experiences and emotional matters as topics for her work, with a focus on relationships and human dynamics.
