Pointed Sense by Noma Bar
Noma Bar's new installation, Cut It Out, will feature a selection of "double-take" imagery made by cutting out shapes and working with the remaining negative space. Israeli-born Bar developed his technique as a teenager staying in a shelter during the Gulf War -- he created a portrait of Saddam Hussein out of a radioactive symbol. Bar has an interactive print-making machine up his sleeve for the London Design Festival this fall, where visitors will be able to feed in paper and produce their own Noma Bar cut-outs.
