Missy Weimer conducted a photographic study of all of Chicago's 47 public swimming pools during the summer of 2010. The resulting series, Chicago City Pools, is a collection of images that highlight the architecture, the mood and the community. It is interesting to note that a number of the photos are without reference points such as cars, fashion or the digital world, so the air is one of a random time frame during the last half century, one that creates a nostalgia that is now.
