Whispering Waters, a series of moving photographs by Danielle Kwaaitaal, is a reflection of the quest for a different aesthetic when it comes to female portraiture. Kwaaitaal's women in water become a blend of sculpture and poetry, all light, fluidity and elegance. The underwater properties bring out both sensuality and innocence in a setting where there is no time, but only gentle movement in a dark void.
