Giacomo Costa uses digital technology to create eerie urban landscapes that confuse and intrigue. Traditional photography is manipulated and coaxed into revealing a dark side of nature and, indeed, ourselves. The resulting images could be of a somewhat near future, the result of a man-made mistake or misstep. Although anonymous, these hints of what may still be to come can be likened to familiar urban settings. Let's just hope it's not ours.
