Previously we've looked at "landscapes" by Tyson Anthony Roberts, but his latest series of paintings is even more abstract. Capsule-like forms signal telegraphically a vague landscape of sorts, complete with movement and energy. Roberts' aim is to capture the change as it happens all around us, so perhaps this evolution in style is a reflection of the transitions to which he is witness. The palettes are fresh and the use of spare shapes allow the viewer to breathe easily while taking it all in.
