A palette dominated by aqua and tomato, with a minor in soft spring green and various shades of stone, is the colour signature to be found in mixed media works on panel by Michael Cutlip. Members of the animal kingdom find their way into most frames, where they join the composition as key elements of the narrative set upon a blend of pattern and abstraction. These visual collages may seem teasing, but manage to give just enough.
