Featured in the Hard Twist 5: Chroma exhibtion, Kerry Croghan's Nightscape is an homage to the urban landscape. We live and work and dream within rectangles; we look through them and let them tower around us. Recognizing that much of her inspiration was derived from the city architecture, the Toronto textile artist began incorporating these ubiquitous elements into laborious felted works that include soft furnishings such as cushions and bedspreads, as well as fine art.
