The M&Mme Collection of furniture by German designer Valentin Loellmann marks the beginning of a family of a design "dynasty" that is evocative of the contemporary Dutch school of design. Shown above is the cabinet with drawers that stands on spindly legs, dark wood set in smooth polyester. It is the contrast between the natural and the "technical" that sets the tone of past meets present and lends itself to an embedded narrative.
