Maysey Craddock's gouache and thread on found paper take the form of undulating ribbons of colour and sharp shards of paint that are all angles and edges. The paper, sometimes resembling paper bags, is stitched together to make a quiet, textured backdrop for Craddock's use of movement and colour. These new works (almost like a riverbed) are a departure from Craddocks previous tree silhouettes, which are still part of the current collection, although updated.
