The coloured glass comes alive when Adam Kurtzman's new pendant lamps are switched on, but deliver a creamy appeal when off as well. The leaded glass panes form architectural columns that combine diamonds, triangles, squares and horizontal and vertical stripes. The classical direction of these lamps hearkens back to the Art Deco period, but there is also something decidedly modern about how the shapes are put together. They're timeless, really, and if we could pick just one, we'd keep it forever.
