French fries and candy packaging take the stage in Ester Partegàs' new work. Organized Fries are digital prints of fries arranged on vivid backgrounds, where they lie in various careful compositions, a contemporary cross between the still life and museum exhibit. Candy package drawings are created by using an airbrush and stencils, media of a pre-digital age. The intensity of the colours reflects the excitement such products initially hold, only to leave the consumer feeling empty and blank.
