Berlin photographer Jo Fischer is a man of road trips that are interpreted by his lens. The characters that people his landscapes both urban and rural are champions of their own settings, and Fischer pays as much homage to the surroundings as he does the personalities. The narratives in these photos are strong and even when there is no character (the title of Fischer's current exhibition) present, the atmosphere is far from empty.
