Influence is a coloured glass sculpture by Nancy Otto with elements that measure from about 20" to 28" by 6.5" combined for a most striking effect. These simple, elegant shapes, akin to the organic nature of bananas or cucumbers, are pocked with delicate dimples that appear to defy the strength of the piece. By using these hollow pieces, the artist provides a view of what is going on inside the sculpture, as well as what is happening within the relationship between the various elements and how they influence each other.
