Toronto artist Alex McLeod presents new imaginary worlds or "hyperrealistic 3D environments" that are CGI prints depicting a made-up nature that is eerie and yet somewhat seductive in its glossiness. Straddling a fine line between real and virtual, these quiet landscapes are devoid of people, but one gets the sense of a human presence having once been there. Human structures have been left behind and it is impossible to know where the humans have gone or whether they are coming back.
