Mosaic by Xenz
by sabine7 / July 15, 2010

Known as the Monet of graffiti, Bristol-based aerosol artist Xenz was inspired by the flora and fauna of Ibiza. The inspiration was channelled into a series of paintings on canvas tiles. Put together, these mosaics form a mural that will be mounted in its entirety during a show at an Ibiza gallery. Xenz explains, "My aim is to develop a community around these mosaics, where people who come to the show are the only ones to ever see it in its complete state - a bit like seeing graffiti before it's buffed or destroyed. Each participant becomes part-owner of the mural - almost like buying shares."
