In conjunction with his recent show at LeBasse projects, Yoskay Yamamoto has released a series of prints based on the paintings depicting the Yamamoto four seasons. Four young ladies wear floral headdresses that are the hoods of equally floral parkas. Not your typical renditions of the four seasons, these prints are more unified in that it is only colour that sets them apart, not style or weightiness. In fact, some may choose to debate the appropriateness of the chosen colours, and that may be precisely what makes this set of season so interesting.
