These Sunsets Are To Die For by Shepard Fairey
It can't hurt to start the week with a bit of pre-Obama work from Shepard Fairey, back in the day when André the Giant was the face that stood for Fairey's work. Fairey's use of reds, tans and blue-blacks is so effective in his panoramas of contemporary irony, naïveté and hopelessness, and the retro imagery in the sunsets of our own making shows how little distance we have covered.
