New work by San Francisco artist Lisa Congdon is featured in a show by the name of Fragmentary Blue, taken from a Robert Frost poem from 1923. Congdon, enticed by the beauty of New England, dedicates this collection to this area of the country that boasts rich colours, deep woods, clear-cut seasons and impressive coastline. Of course, the kindness of the people may also have something to with Congdon's dream of having a tiny dwelling in the woods to paint and draw the New England world around her.

Fragmentary Blue runs from April 9 - 30, 2010 at Artstream Studios in Rochester, New Hampshire.
