Plant Food When I'm Dead by Jessica Hosman
by sabine7 / February 17, 2010

Jessica Hosman creates a world of controlled chaos by using multiple image photography to record and blend different surroundings and states of mind. The process is simple, yet intriguing: Hosman shoots a roll of film, then rewinds it and shoots another series altogether. The resulting images may or may not be aligned, depending on how the film loads. This project evolved out of a feeling of alienation and cultural disenchantment experienced by the artist upon her return from a sojourn abroad.
